This journey of iPad use to support classroom instruction is now in its seventh month at Damascus Elementary. My posts will primarily reflect the progress of four small groups of kindergarten students (ABC Club) who are receiving reading intervention. We have traversed the continuum of progress from exploration to familiarity to targeted use. Please note that the reading intervention page and the dinosaur project page will be updated periodically as we journey towards the completion of the school year.

The students today are comfortable navigating about 25 plus apps geared to support them in their pursuit of proficiency in reading skills. The apps are categorized by skills. Below is a screen shot of the folders.
